Elvira Bermudez, 57, of Westminster, was killed when a white GMC pickup truck heading south on Goldenwest

WESTMINSTER – The driver of a Saturn sedan killed Thursday night after the vehicle was struck by a pickup truck at Goldenwest Street and Georgetown Avenue has been identified.
Elvira Bermudez, 57, of Westminster, was killed when a white GMC pickup truck heading south on Goldenwest about 10 p.m. hit her vehicle while the truck made a left turn to head east on Georgetown, according to a press release from the Westminster Police Department.

Bermudez, who was driving north on Goldenwest at the time, was killed on impact.
Both occupants of the GMC truck were unharmed.
Authorities said it did not appear that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash and it is unclear if there was a traffic violation involved, according to the press release.
